- ConnR Added January 15, 2024★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Most of these good reviews are from before ownership changed hands - I had high hopes going back here for the first time in 5 years but was extremely disappointed. Bitter/Burnt coffee almost undrinkable and the food was simple and ridiculously overpriced, I could have made a much better meal at home for a whopping $50. And I'm no chef. (Eggs benedict was 2 "poached" eggs on bread with Woolworths thin sliced packet ham, and curdled sauce). New owner seemed lovely but needs to hire someone else to do the cooking and barista work.

The bread is stale and too thick and the vegetables aren't fresh, neither is the cheese and wayyyy too much butter used. Also I was very excited to try the caramel slice which I took one bite of and was stale! I'm really disappointed as I held high hopes for this little cafe. The lady at the front is so delightful and friendly and makes super good coffee. I think the food needs to be thought out better.... buy fresh bread. Don't freeze it and wrap those caramel slices up in glad wrap individually so they don't go stale!

We made a stop there with some friends for take-away snacks and coffee.
We were more than keen to wait as the owner seemed busy.
After a while the owner came out angrily and told as to take a seat and wait. When I asked him whether we did something wrong he grabbed back the snacks, said no time for you, no toilet and get out of here in front of all the other customers.
